Turn On a Missing WooCommerce Event in PixelYourSite with AI

Find the switch that keeps a WooCommerce event from reaching Meta or Google, and turn it on after your yes.

Difficulty Beginner
Time ~5 min

Prerequisites

A site connected to WPVibe running PixelYourSite 11.4.4 or newer (tested on the free 11.4.4) on WordPress 6.9 or newer, with an administrator account. In PixelYourSite, open MCP and turn on Allow other MCP servers to use PixelYourSite tools; until then the AI sees only one PixelYourSite tool, or the tools refuse. Once on, PixelYourSite shows it as Critical because it opens these tools to any WordPress user with PixelYourSite access. Read-only mode in PixelYourSite, MCP must be off, or every change is refused. WooCommerce active, and the pixel for that platform set up in PixelYourSite.

The prompt
My site uses PixelYourSite with WooCommerce. Make sure [event, for example checkout or purchase, or leave blank to check them all] reaches [platform, for example Meta or Google Analytics].

1. Run pixelyoursite/mcp-access-info. If external_access_enabled is false, tell me to open PixelYourSite, then MCP, and turn on Allow other MCP servers to use PixelYourSite tools, and stop.
2. Run pixelyoursite/get-woo-events-config. If available is false, WooCommerce is not active: say so and stop. In get-woo-events-config, an event reaches a platform only when its funnel_events entry and that platform's entry in platform_events are both on. funnel_events can be just all_enabled true (every event on), and it names events like InitiateCheckout while platform_events and the change tool use names like initiate_checkout. A platform with no row at all in platform_events has its pixel switched off or no ID: say that and point me to PixelYourSite's Dashboard, do not call the event unsupported. Inside a platform's row, a missing event cannot be sent to that platform; false means it can but is off. Tell me, for the event I named (or every event), whether it reaches the platform, and if not, which switch is off. If the platform cannot send that event at all, say so and stop for that event rather than offer a workaround.
3. If more than one switch is off, list them and ask which to turn on: an owner may have turned some off on purpose. Then preview one event at a time. Call pixelyoursite/set-woo-event-config with only what that event needs: the funnel toggle (for example initiate_checkout) if the main switch is off, platform_event_toggles with that platform and event if the platform switch is off, or both in the same call if both are off. A main switch affects every platform, so say which other platforms it will turn the event on for. Every PixelYourSite change takes two calls. The first, without confirm, saves nothing and returns pending_changes and a confirmation_id: show me the changes and any notes in plain words and wait for my yes. If a note says a platform is disabled, add enabled true for it and preview again before asking me. If a note says the custom events feature is off, tell me and do not turn it on: that would switch on every custom event on the site. Only after my yes send the same arguments again with confirm true and that confirmation_id (it lasts 10 minutes; if it has expired, preview again). Pass a one-sentence mcp_note each time. If the answer is Read-only mode is enabled, tell me to turn off read-only mode in PixelYourSite, MCP, and stop. Do not change content IDs or anything else.
4. After saving, run get-woo-events-config again and confirm the event now reaches the platform.

Run the “Turn On a Missing WooCommerce Event in PixelYourSite with AI” recipe from the WPVibe cookbook on my connected site.

Meta says your ads drove no checkouts, but Google shows plenty. In PixelYourSite each WooCommerce event has a main switch and a switch for each platform, so one event can be on for Google and off for Meta, and the platform switches sit inside each event’s collapsed card, where they are easy to miss.

The AI reads PixelYourSite’s WooCommerce events, finds the switch that keeps the event from reaching the platform you name, and shows you exactly what it will change. PixelYourSite itself saves nothing until you say yes to that preview. Then it saves the change and reads the settings back.

Name the event and the platform, or ask it to look for anything off. It only changes the switches for the events you approve, one preview at a time.

Outcome

The event is on for that platform, confirmed by reading the settings back.
