WordPress does not speak to AI assistants on its own. WPVibe adds that: a free plugin on your site plus a hosted MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, and any other client that supports the Model Context Protocol can read your site, make changes, and build new pages, with your approval on anything risky.
How it works
- Install the WPVibe plugin on your WordPress site from wpvibe.ai/start. It takes about a minute and works on any host.
- Add WPVibe to your AI client using the guide for that client below. Every client uses the same server URL,
https://mcp.wpvibe.ai/mcp, and the same email sign-in. - Ask your AI to connect your site. A one-click authorization page opens in your wp-admin. From then on the AI can work on that site whenever you ask.

What an AI can do once it is connected
Anything the WordPress user you authorized can do, through conversation instead of clicking. A few examples from the cookbook:
- Add schema markup to key pages and confirm it renders.
- Add analytics or a pixel sitewide without touching a theme file.
- Copy a page to another site as a draft, blocks and formatting intact.
- Write and schedule posts, update plugins, fix a broken page, run an accessibility or SEO audit, build a landing page in your page builder.
Safe by default
Connecting an AI to a live site is only a good idea if the AI cannot silently wreck it. WPVibe runs as the WordPress user you authorize, so it can never do more than that user could in wp-admin. Theme work happens in a draft with a private preview and an explicit publish step. Destructive or bulk operations show you a dry run and wait for your approval in the browser. What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is the open standard AI assistants use to call outside tools. WPVibe is an MCP server for WordPress: it turns your site into a set of tools the AI can use, such as reading a post, editing a file, or running a WP-CLI command, with safety checks on each one.
Does it work on my host?
Yes. WPVibe is a normal WordPress plugin and needs nothing special from the host. Some firewalls block automated requests; the firewall guide covers the fix.
Is it free?
Yes. The free plan includes every tool, unlimited connected sites, and a daily allowance of actions. Paid plans raise the allowance. You bring your own AI subscription; WPVibe does not run the model.
Does my site content train AI models?
WPVibe does not use your site content to train any models. Your AI client processes what it reads under that vendor’s own policy, so check its data settings.
