The guardrails are the product. Access runs through WordPress Application Passwords scoped to a WordPress user and role, so the AI can never do more than the user you connect as. Destructive operations stop for your approval in the browser with a dry-run preview, theme work happens in an isolated draft with a preview URL, posts default to draft, deletes go to trash, and every sensitive action lands in an append-only audit log. Start on your own site or a staging site; move to client sites when it has earned it.
Your AI conversation never passes through WPVibe. Prompts and chat stay between you and your AI provider; WPVibe receives only the tool calls the AI makes (fetch this page, update that post) and forwards them to the site. We store your account email, each site’s URL with an encrypted Application Password (AES-256-GCM, revocable in one click), and a metadata log of each tool call (tool name, site, success or failure, timing) kept for about 90 days for billing and abuse prevention. Site content is not retained on our servers, media uploads pass through temporary storage that deletes itself within 24 hours, and operations awaiting your approval hold their preview for minutes, not days. No admin menu, no dashboard widget, no plugins-list entry, no WPVibe branding in the editor. The site stays fully manageable through your AI, WordPress auto-updates keep the plugin current while it’s hidden, and bringing it back takes one command. Requires plugin 1.11.0 or newer.
