WooCommerce AI agent plugin

StoreAgent vs WPVibe

StoreAgent is the AI agent for your WooCommerce store and its shoppers. WPVibe is the MCP server for operating your whole WordPress site, WooCommerce included, from Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor. Here is where they overlap and where they differ.

TL;DR

StoreAgent is a WooCommerce plugin that answers shoppers from live store data, writes product content in bulk, and surfaces catalog insights, with AI usage bundled into the plan. WPVibe is a hosted MCP server that lets Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude Code operate any self-hosted WordPress site, including a WooCommerce store’s products, orders, coupons, and reports, plus the themes, pages, and plugins around it. They overlap on catalog and content work; they differ on who the AI is talking to and where it lives. Many stores will want both.

At a glance

How the two options compare

Primary job

WPVibe

A hosted remote MCP server for operating self-hosted WordPress, WooCommerce included, from the AI client you already use.

StoreAgent

A WooCommerce plugin that answers shoppers from live store data, generates product content in bulk, and reports on catalog gaps.

Who it is for

WPVibe

Site owners, agencies, and builders who want AI to run the site and the store: any WordPress install, WooCommerce or not.

StoreAgent

WooCommerce store owners and their teams; no developer required.

Where the AI lives

WPVibe

In your AI client. You chat in Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude Code and WPVibe carries the work to the site.

StoreAgent

Inside the store. A storefront chat widget for shoppers plus content and insight tools in WordPress admin.

Setup

WPVibe

Add the WPVibe MCP URL to your AI client, sign in, and authorize each site over WordPress core REST and Application Passwords. Plugin optional.

StoreAgent

Install the StoreAgent plugin, connect your account, and let it index products, posts, and pages. AI usage is bundled, so there are no API keys to manage.

WooCommerce work

WPVibe

Products, variations, categories, orders, coupons, and reports through WooCommerce’s REST API and abilities: rewrite product copy, clean up a catalog, look up orders, pull sales summaries.

StoreAgent

Bulk product descriptions, tags, alt text, and category copy as one-click jobs; live product, stock, and order data feeding the shopper chat; catalog insights and chat-to-sale tracking.

Beyond the store

WPVibe

Posts, pages, media, plugin abilities, WP-CLI-style commands, rendered page inspection, and draft-first theme and file edits with preview before publish.

StoreAgent

Stays inside WooCommerce; no theme, page, or plugin operations.

Customer-facing

WPVibe

None. WPVibe is an operator tool; it does not add a chat widget or talk to shoppers.

StoreAgent

24/7 storefront chat that answers from live pricing, stock, variants, and shipping in 100+ languages, with escalation to a human.

Pricing

WPVibe

Free tier with a daily allowance and unlimited sites; paid plans from Pro at $99/yr to Agency $599/yr and Scale $899/yr. You bring your own Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor subscription.

StoreAgent

Free Lite tier with one-time credits; Growth $19/mo, Pro $49/mo, Business $249/mo, all with unlimited sites and AI usage bundled in.

Best when

WPVibe

You want one chat that runs the store and the site: products and orders alongside pages, themes, plugins, and diagnostics, across every site you manage.

StoreAgent

You run a WooCommerce store and want a shopper-facing AI plus one-click catalog content, without touching code or an AI client.

Why people compare these two

Both products put AI to work on a WooCommerce store, and there is real overlap. Both can write product descriptions, tags, and alt text. Both can look at your catalog and tell you what is missing. Both can read live product and order data. So the question is less “which one does WooCommerce” and more “where do you want the AI to live, and who is it working for.”

StoreAgent is built for the store owner and their customers: it lives inside the store as a plugin, puts a chat agent on the storefront, and packages the content and insight tools as one-click jobs in WordPress admin with AI usage bundled into the plan. WPVibe is built for whoever operates the site: it connects any self-hosted WordPress install, WooCommerce included, to the AI client you already use, so the same chat that manages products and orders can also fix a theme, audit plugins, or build a landing page.

What StoreAgent is for

StoreAgent is a WooCommerce plugin from Rymera Web Co, the team behind Wholesale Suite and Advanced Coupons. It bundles three things: a storefront chat agent that answers shopper questions from live pricing, stock, variants, and shipping data; a content engine that generates product descriptions, short descriptions, tags, alt text, and category copy in bulk; and an insights layer that flags products missing metadata and tracks chat-to-sale conversion. AI usage is bundled into the plan, so there are no API keys or AI subscriptions to manage. It is aimed squarely at people running a store, not at developers.

What WPVibe is for

WPVibe is a hosted remote MCP server. You add one URL to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude Code, authorize a self-hosted WordPress site over core REST and Application Passwords, and then work on that site through a curated WordPress tool surface. On a WooCommerce store that includes the store itself: products, variations, categories, orders, coupons, and reports through WooCommerce’s REST API and abilities, so you can rewrite product copy, clean up a catalog, look up an order, or pull a sales summary from a chat. It also covers everything around the store: posts and pages, media, plugin abilities, WP-CLI-style commands, rendered page inspection, and draft-first theme and file edits with preview before publish. What it does not do is talk to your customers.

Where they overlap, and where they do not

The overlap is catalog and content work. If you want product descriptions, tags, and alt text written, either tool will do it; StoreAgent as a batch job inside admin with its own bundled AI, WPVibe as a conversation in your AI client where you can steer tone, ask for changes, and move on to the next task without leaving the chat.

The differences are on the edges. Only StoreAgent puts an AI agent on the storefront for shoppers. Only WPVibe operates the rest of the site (themes, pages, plugins, diagnostics) and works across every site you manage, store or not. Plenty of WooCommerce stores will run both: StoreAgent for the customer-facing side, WPVibe for running the site and store from the operator’s chair.

Honest fit

Choose based on the workflow

WPVibe is best for

  • Anyone who operates WordPress sites, store or not, and wants to do it from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude Code.
  • WooCommerce stores that want products, orders, coupons, and catalog copy handled in the same chat that fixes the theme or builds the landing page.
  • Agencies managing many client sites across many hosts who want one connection and one workflow for all of them.
  • Theme, page, and plugin work that needs draft-first, preview-before-publish workflows and approval gates on irreversible actions.

StoreAgent is best for

  • WooCommerce store owners who want a shopper-facing AI assistant that knows live prices, stock, and shipping.
  • Store teams who want product descriptions, tags, and alt text as one-click batch jobs inside WordPress admin, no prompting or AI client required.
  • Teams that want catalog insights (missing metadata, chat-to-sale conversion) without setting up analytics themselves.
  • Store owners who want AI usage bundled into the plan with no API keys, AI subscriptions, or separate model billing.

Setup or switching notes

This is not really a switch, because the two only partly overlap. Where they do overlap, on product copy, tags, alt text, and catalog cleanup, either one will do the job; StoreAgent as one-click batch jobs inside WordPress admin with its own bundled AI, WPVibe as a conversation in your AI client.

If your pain is shopper questions on the storefront, that is StoreAgent’s job and WPVibe does not do it. If your pain is running the site and store together (products and orders alongside landing pages, theme changes, plugin checks, and diagnostics) from one chat, that is WPVibe. If both sound familiar, run both: StoreAgent for the customer-facing side, WPVibe from your AI client for the operator side.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need both StoreAgent and WPVibe?

Many WooCommerce stores will want both, but not because they never overlap. Both can write product content and work with your catalog. StoreAgent is the one that talks to your customers on the storefront; WPVibe is the one that runs the store and the whole site from your AI client. If you only need one of those two things, you only need one tool.

Where do they overlap?

Catalog and content work: product descriptions, short descriptions, tags, alt text, category copy, and spotting products with missing data. StoreAgent does this as batch jobs inside WordPress admin with bundled AI. WPVibe does it conversationally from Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Claude Code through WooCommerce’s REST API and abilities, and can continue into orders, coupons, reports, and everything outside WooCommerce.

Can WPVibe answer shopper questions on my storefront?

No. WPVibe is an operator tool that works from inside your AI client; it does not add a customer-facing chat widget. That is StoreAgent’s job.

Can StoreAgent edit my theme or build a landing page?

No. StoreAgent stays inside WooCommerce: shopper chat, catalog content, and insights. Site-building and site-operations work, including draft-first theme and file edits, is what WPVibe is for.

Does StoreAgent have an MCP too?

StoreAgent has announced MCP store access so you can point Claude or ChatGPT at your own store. When it ships, it will be a WooCommerce-focused connection; WPVibe remains the general-purpose WordPress MCP for any site. We will update this page once it is available.

Are StoreAgent and WPVibe related companies?

No. StoreAgent is made by Rymera Web Co and WPVibe is made by SeedProd. The founders know each other and compared notes on this page, but there is no commercial relationship, and neither product pays the other for placement.
