What we learned testing it

Behavior the ability descriptions do not mention.

• Joinchat 6.4.1 registers five abilities but puts only Generate WhatsApp URL on the Abilities REST API. Get phone, Set phone, Set call to action and Set message are not reachable over REST, so WPVibe can't run them. The recipes change the same settings through Joinchat's page settings and its saved options instead.
• A page's Joinchat settings are saved as one object. Writing it replaces everything the page had, so send the keys you want to keep along with the change. Sending an empty object puts the page back on the site-wide settings.
• Per-page and product changes go live at once. Joinchat has no draft or preview for them.
• The product page button doesn't show on a classic theme that doesn't declare WooCommerce support: WooCommerce draws the product inside the page content and Joinchat skips its button there. Our classic test theme is one; on Twenty Twenty-Five, a block theme, it showed at both positions we tried. The floating chat still sends the product message either way.
• Make a WhatsApp link strips spaces, the plus sign and leading zeros, and adds the extra 9 or 1 that Argentina and Mexico numbers need, but it doesn't check or add a country code. A local number gives a link that opens the wrong chat, so check the digits after wa.me/.
• Store settings changed through WP-CLI skip Joinchat's own checks and its cache clearing, which run only in wp-admin. A mistyped button position just shows no button, and a page cache can show the old values until it is cleared. The recipes read the page back.
• On a fresh install Joinchat has no saved settings until they are saved once (in wp-admin), and a single-field change through WP-CLI fails with option not found. Set the number first.
