Add Digital Products to Easy Digital Downloads from a List with AI
Paste a list of product names and prices and get them all created as drafts, with descriptions written and nothing published until you check it.
Prerequisites
A connected site running Easy Digital Downloads 3.7.1 or newer on WordPress 6.9 or newer, with AI write access switched on under Downloads, Tools, AI. Have your product list and your files ready.
I run my store on Easy Digital Downloads. Create these products from my list: [paste your list, one per line, as name, price, and a sentence or two about what it is, for example: Notion Freelancer Planner, $29, a Notion workspace for tracking clients, projects, and invoices]. Use the Easy Digital Downloads product abilities. Before creating anything, check my existing products, including drafts, and tell me about any name that already exists instead of creating a duplicate. Then show me the full list as a table with name and price and wait for me to confirm. Create every product as a draft, never published. For each one, write a one-sentence summary and a description of two short paragraphs based on my notes, in plain language with no hype, and do not invent features I did not mention. After you finish, read the products back from the store and give me a table with name, saved price, status, and the wp-admin edit link for each, so I can attach the download file and publish. Remind me that files and variable prices are set on the edit screen.

The products are finished. The files are sitting in a folder.
