Change a Header Built with Ultimate Addons for Elementor with AI
Add a button, recolor the menu or swap a widget in your UAE header, one checked change at a time.
Prerequisites
A site connected to WPVibe running Elementor (free is enough) and Ultimate Addons for Elementor 2.9.5 or newer (tested on 2.9.5, the free version) on WordPress 6.9 or newer with a classic theme, with UAE's AI tools on: in wp-admin, UAE > Settings > AI Tools, switch on Enable Abilities and Enable Edit Abilities. A header or footer made with UAE.
My WordPress site uses Elementor and the free Ultimate Addons for Elementor plugin (UAE). In my [header or footer], [describe the change, for example add a button "Book your stay" linking to /plan-your-stay/ next to the search icon, and make the menu links white]. 1. Run discover_abilities with category hfe-templates. If no uae/ abilities come back, stop and tell me to turn them on in wp-admin: UAE > Settings > AI Tools, switch on Enable Abilities and Enable Edit Abilities. If an ability a later step needs is missing (run discover_abilities without a category to check), stop and tell me to switch on Enable Edit Abilities and that ability's own switch on the same screen. 2. Find the template with uae/active-get and uae/templates-list. If more than one header or footer is published, list them with their display rules and ask me which one. 3. Read it with uae/builder-get-structure (full true). For every widget you use, run uae/builder-get-schema (type widget, tab style for colors, tab content for text and links) and use only the setting keys it lists. UAE's own build examples name some keys that do nothing: the search icon color is toggle_color, the site title color is heading_color, the copyright text color is title_color. A key the widget doesn't have saves without an error and changes nothing. The Search widget's style schema is longer than one result can hold and gets cut off; use toggle_color for its icon color as given. For each change, show me the widget, the setting key, its current value and the new one; for a new widget, show me where it goes (after or before which element ID). Remind me the template is live, then wait for my yes. 4. Make one change at a time: uae/builder-update-widget for settings (send only the keys that change), uae/builder-insert-widget for a new widget, uae/builder-move-element to move one. After each change run uae/builder-regenerate-css, fetch [a page on my site] with get_page_html and check the change is there. If it is wrong, run uae/builder-undo once (it reverts only the last change) and tell me. 5. To remove a widget, use uae/builder-remove-element; WPVibe will give me an approval link first unless I turned approvals off. 6. When you are done, list every change with its old and new value, and give me the template's Elementor edit link.
Skip pasting the full prompt. Drop this into your AI on a site that already has WPVibe:
Run the “Change a Header Built with Ultimate Addons for Elementor with AI” recipe from the WPVibe cookbook on my connected site.
Headers change: a new booking button, a menu color that clashes with the new logo, a search icon nobody uses. In Elementor that means opening the template, finding the right widget inside the right container and hunting through its style tab, on the one template every page depends on.
The AI reads your header’s structure with Ultimate Addons for Elementor’s own abilities, looks up the exact settings each widget takes, and shows you each change with its old and new value. On your yes it makes one change at a time, checks the live page after each, and can undo the last change if it is wrong.
Your header is live, so every change shows on every page as soon as it saves. UAE keeps one level of undo for these changes; older versions are in Elementor’s revision history. Removing a widget asks for your approval in the browser through WPVibe first, unless you turned approvals off.
Outcome
Your header or footer has exactly the changes you approved, each checked on the live site.
