My WordPress user list has filled up with spam or bot registrations. Find the accounts that look like spam: subscribers with no posts or comments, throwaway or disposable email domains, or a burst of sign-ups around the same time. Do not delete anything yet. First show me the suspected accounts as a list, with the reason each one was flagged, so I can review them. I have taken a backup. Once I approve, delete them in batches and reassign any content they own to me [or username], so nothing important is lost. If I tell you I am unsure about specific accounts, skip those and remove only the ones I confirm. When you are done, show me the final user list so I can confirm my real users are still there.
