Fix How Your Posts Look When Shared in All in One SEO with AI

Give your best posts a share title and description written for a social feed, saved to All in One SEO's social settings.

Difficulty Beginner
Time ~10 min

Prerequisites

A connected site running All in One SEO 5.0 or newer (the free version works) on WordPress 6.9 or newer, and a list of the posts you share most.

The prompt
I use All in One SEO on my WordPress site. Write social share text for these posts: [list the posts by title or URL]. Use the All in One SEO abilities. For each post, read its current SEO data and its content. Then write a Facebook and LinkedIn share title of up to 70 characters, a share description of up to 150 characters, an X title of up to 60 characters, and an X description of up to 120 characters. Write them for a person scrolling a feed: say what is interesting or useful in the post, in plain words. No clickbait, no questions that the post does not answer, no emoji, no exclamation marks, and nothing the post does not say. Show me all of it as a table and wait for my approval. Save only the social fields I approve, and do not change the SEO title, the meta description, the focus keyphrase, or anything else. After saving, read each post back to confirm the social fields hold what I approved, then fetch the live URL of the first post and confirm the og:title and og:description tags show the new text. Remind me that the share image is set in the editor and that social networks may show a cached preview for a while.

Run the “Fix How Your Posts Look When Shared in All in One SEO with AI” recipe from the WPVibe cookbook on my connected site.

A headline written for search is not a headline written for a feed. Search wants the keyword up front. A feed wants a reason to stop scrolling. Most sites use one line for both, so the link someone shares on LinkedIn shows a title built for Google and a description cut off mid-sentence. All in One SEO has separate fields for exactly this, on a tab almost nobody opens.

You name the posts and the AI reads each one, then writes a share title and description for Facebook and LinkedIn, and a shorter pair for X. It saves them through All in One SEO’s abilities into the social fields, and it leaves your search title and meta description alone. You see every line before it is saved, and afterwards it checks the live page for the new tags.

Paste the prompt with five to ten posts, the ones you actually share. Share text is where AI writing gets loud, so the prompt bans the usual tricks, but read each line anyway and rewrite what does not sound like you. Images are not part of this: the share image is still set in the editor. Social networks cache previews, so an old link may show the old text until the network refreshes it.

Outcome

The posts you chose have their own Facebook and X titles and descriptions, confirmed in the page source.
