Keep OptinMonster Popups Off Checkout, Login and Thank-You Pages with AI
Switch off every OptinMonster campaign on the pages where a popup only gets in the way, and keep it off for future campaigns.
Prerequisites
A site connected to WPVibe with the OptinMonster plugin active and connected to your OptinMonster account.
My WordPress site is connected through WPVibe and runs the OptinMonster plugin. 1. Find the pages where a popup would get in the way: [checkout, cart, account and thank-you pages, plus any custom login page, or list your own]. List each one's title, ID and URL, and wait for me to confirm the list. 2. For each confirmed page, turn on OptinMonster's per-page switch by setting the post meta om_disable_all_campaigns to true through the WordPress REST API. It is the same switch as the "Disable all OptinMonster campaigns" checkbox in the editor. 3. Read the meta back on every page and confirm it is true. 4. Fetch each page logged out and confirm it contains OptinMonster's preventAll script and no campaign embed code. OptinMonster's base script still loads; that is expected. Then tell me how to turn the switch off again for any page.
Skip pasting the full prompt. Drop this into your AI on a site that already has WPVibe:
Run the “Keep OptinMonster Popups Off Checkout, Login and Thank-You Pages with AI” recipe from the WPVibe cookbook on my connected site.
A popup on the checkout page costs you the sale it was meant to win, and one on the login or thank-you page just annoys the people who already said yes. Site-wide campaigns land there by default, and adding exclusions to every campaign is easy to forget the next time you build one.
OptinMonster has a per-page switch that turns off every campaign on that page, whatever the campaign’s own rules say. The AI finds your sensitive pages through WPVibe, waits for you to confirm the list, then sets that switch on each one through the WordPress REST API, reads it back, and checks each page to confirm the campaigns are switched off.
Confirm the list before it writes; the AI should not guess which pages matter to you. The switch is the same “Disable all OptinMonster campaigns” checkbox you would tick in the editor, so you can see it and undo it there on any page. New campaigns respect it automatically.
Outcome
OptinMonster's per-page switch set on each page you confirmed, verified by reading it back and checking each page.
