Cookbook WooCommerce Merchant

Read Merchant Analytics and Get Optimization Advice with AI

Ask how your campaigns are converting and get the numbers plus a ranked list of what to fix first, with nothing changed on your store.

Difficulty Beginner
Time ~5 min

Prerequisites

Merchant Pro with WooCommerce on a connected site, and enough campaign history for the numbers to mean something. This recipe is read-only, so it works with AI write access left switched off.

The prompt
My store runs WooCommerce with Merchant Pro. Discover Merchant's abilities first. Pull my Merchant numbers for [this month, or a date range] and give me a read on what is working. Do not change anything: report and advise only.

Run merchant/get-analytics at global scope for the overall picture, then at module scope for each active module so you can compare them against each other. Run merchant/get-recommendations as well, and tell me which of its suggestions my data actually supports.

Specifically:
- Which of my active Merchant modules and campaigns are converting best, and which are underperforming.
- [Any specific metric I care about, for example "my free shipping bar conversion rate" or "which promotion drove the most revenue"].

Then give me your top three optimization recommendations, ordered by likely impact, and for each one name the exact Merchant module and setting I would change.

If the numbers come back empty or near zero, say so plainly instead of writing advice around them. A store without enough campaign history yet gives you nothing to rank, and I would rather know that than read generic suggestions.

Run the “Read Merchant Analytics and Get Optimization Advice with AI” recipe from the WPVibe cookbook on my connected site.

The numbers that tell you whether a promotion worked sit in one screen, the modules you would change based on them sit in another, and the decision about what to try next sits in your head at the end of a long day. Most store owners never close that loop, so the campaigns that worked get repeated by luck and the weak ones keep running.

The AI reads your conversion data straight from Merchant, at the store level and per module, so it can compare campaigns against each other rather than reporting one number in isolation. It also pulls Merchant’s own recommendations and tells you which of them your data actually supports. Nothing is changed, because every ability this recipe uses is read-only, which means it runs fine with AI write access switched off.

Ask the question the way you would ask an analyst and you get the numbers and the recommendation in the same reply. The caveat is in the prompt for a reason: on a store with little campaign history, Merchant’s analytics return zeros and any ranking built on them is invented. If the answer comes back with round numbers and no reference to your actual orders, wait and ask again after the next campaign rather than acting on it.

Outcome

Your Merchant conversion numbers plus a ranked, specific list of what to optimize next, delivered in chat with nothing changed on your store.
