See How Your Affiliate Program Did This Month with AffiliateWP and AI
This month against last: referrals, earnings, conversion rate, top affiliates and the campaigns that convert. Read only.
Prerequisites
A site connected to WPVibe running AffiliateWP 2.37 or newer (tested on 2.37.1) on WordPress 6.9 or newer, with an administrator account.
My WordPress site runs AffiliateWP. Report on my affiliate program for [month, for example October 2026, or this month to date] compared with the month before. Read only: change nothing.
1. Run get_ability_info for each AffiliateWP ability this uses: affiliatewp/get-program-settings, affiliatewp/get-program-summary, affiliatewp/list-top-affiliates, affiliatewp/list-campaigns and affiliatewp/list-affiliates. If one is not found, stop and tell me this needs AffiliateWP 2.37 or newer on WordPress 6.9 or newer.
2. Run affiliatewp/get-program-settings for the currency, the default rate and the cookie length. Then run affiliatewp/get-program-summary twice, with date {"start": "YYYY-MM-DD", "end": "YYYY-MM-DD"} for my month and for the month before (both days are included). If my month is this month to date, end it today and compare it with the same days of the month before (for example October 1 to 14 against September 1 to 14), and say so in the report. Use its referrals, earnings and visits; its affiliate counts are for the whole program, not the month.
3. Run affiliatewp/list-top-affiliates with the same date range as my month, status active, number 10. Earnings in a date range count every referral created in it, paid or not.
4. Run affiliatewp/list-campaigns with orderby visits, order DESC, number 100, and rank the ones with at least 20 visits by conversion_rate. Each row is one campaign for one affiliate, and these figures are lifetime totals, not for the month: say so in the report.
5. Run affiliatewp/list-affiliates with status pending, number 1, and read total for the number of applications waiting.
6. Report in plain words: a table of referrals (unpaid, paid, rejected), earnings (unpaid and paid) and visits with conversion rate for both months, with the change; the top 5 affiliates with their referrals, earnings and conversion rate for my month; the 3 best and 3 weakest campaigns with at least 20 visits; and how many applications wait. Earnings count by when the referral was created, not when it was paid out: say so. End with three things worth doing, each tied to a number you found. Don't list customer names or order details.

Run the “See How Your Affiliate Program Did This Month with AffiliateWP and AI” recipe from the WPVibe cookbook on my connected site.
Most affiliate programs get checked when a payout is due, not when something could still be done about it. The numbers are all in AffiliateWP, spread over the Reports, Affiliates, Visits and Campaigns screens, and comparing this month with last means two date ranges and a calculator.
The AI reads AffiliateWP’s own totals for this month and the month before, ranks the affiliates who earned the most, finds the campaigns that convert and the ones that don’t, and counts the applications still waiting. It changes nothing.
Name the month, or leave it as this month to date. Campaign figures in AffiliateWP are lifetime totals, so the AI labels them that way rather than passing them off as this month’s. Run it on the first of each month and you have a report in a minute.
Outcome
A short report on your affiliate program for the month, compared with the month before, with three things worth doing next.
