Turn links into on-page anchors with AI
Point a page's links at its own sections with anchor IDs, no hunting through blocks by hand.
Prerequisites
A connected site and the page whose links you want to fix.
On [page title/URL], the links that currently point at [old URLs or another site] should jump to sections on this same page instead. First, read the page and list every heading with its anchor ID, adding IDs to headings that lack them. Then update each of those links to the matching #anchor, matching links to sections by their text and context. Show me the mapping of old URL to new anchor before you save. Do not change any other links, and do not publish anything new.

Skip the copy-paste. Just ask your AI for the “Turn links into on-page anchors with AI” recipe, or describe the task, and WPVibe runs these steps on your own site.
Single-page sites and long guides collect links that should just scroll the reader down the page: leftovers from an old multi-page structure, or links pasted in from another site. Fixing them means opening block after block in the editor and retyping each one, which is why it never gets done.
Your AI reads the page’s block markup directly, so it sees every heading and every link at once. It adds anchor IDs to headings that need them, maps each link to the right section by its text, and rewrites them in one pass, showing you the mapping before anything is saved.
Paste the prompt into your AI client with WPVibe connected, name the page, and describe which links should become anchors. Review the mapping it proposes, say yes, and the page is done.
Outcome
Every targeted link scrolls to its section on the page. External leftovers from an old site structure are gone.
