Improve an Existing WPForms Form with AI
Have your AI review a form you already have, then tighten the labels, required fields, placeholders, and button text, with your approval on every change.
Prerequisites
A connected site running WPForms 2.0 or newer (the free version works) on WordPress 6.9 or newer, with AI form editing switched on under WPForms, Tools.
I use WPForms on my WordPress site. Review my form [form name] and improve it. Use the WPForms abilities. First list my forms and confirm which one you are working on; if the name matches more than one, ask me. Read the form with its fields, and read the editing schema so you only propose changes WPForms allows. Review it the way a first-time visitor would: is each label clear, is anything required that does not need to be, would a placeholder or a short description help someone answer, is a field missing that I would obviously need, and does the button say what happens next. Show me a before and after table with every proposed change and the reason for it in a few words, and wait for my approval. Keep my wording where it already works, and do not make every field required. Apply only the changes I approve. If editing is blocked, tell me to switch on AI form editing under WPForms, Tools, and stop; never change WPForms settings through options or the database. You cannot remove or reorder fields, so if I ask for that, tell me it is done in the form builder. A new field is added at the end of the form, so tell me if I should drag it somewhere else. After the changes, read the form back and show me what was saved. Remind me that dropdown choices and placeholders do not come back in that readback, so I should look at the live form, and that I should send a test entry.

Most contact forms were built in ten minutes, years ago, and have not been opened since. The button says Submit. Every field is required, including the ones you never use. The message box is labelled Comment or Message and gives the visitor no idea what to write. Each of those costs you a few enquiries, and none of them is worth an afternoon in the form builder, so they stay.
The AI reads the form through WPForms’ own abilities and reviews it the way a visitor meets it: what is asked, in what order, what is required, and what the button promises. It proposes changes as a before and after table. When you approve, it updates the fields and the form’s title, description, and button text through WPForms, and adds a field if one is missing. Then it reads the form back, so you see what was saved and not what it meant to save.
Paste the prompt with the form you want reviewed. Know the edges before you start. The AI can change labels, descriptions, required state, size, placeholders, default values, and the choices in a dropdown, and it can add a field. It cannot remove or reorder fields, and a new field lands at the end of the form, so moving it is a drag in the form builder. Notifications, confirmations, and spam protection are not part of what it can change. If you are editing a live form, do it at a quiet time and submit a test entry afterwards.
