Every WPForms ability

WPForms registers these with the WordPress Abilities API under the wpforms namespace. Your AI finds them with discover_abilities and calls them with run_ability. WPVibe asks for your approval only when an ability is marked destructive and deletes something or runs code; everything else runs as soon as your AI calls it. Verified means we ran it on a live install of v2.0.1.1. Registered means a fresh install of v2.0.1.1 ships it and we have not run it yet.

Requires WPForms 2.0 or newer on WordPress 6.9 or newer. Turn on AI form editing under WPForms, Tools to let your AI create and edit forms.

What we learned testing it

Behavior the ability descriptions do not mention.

Editing is off by default. Turn on AI form editing under WPForms, Tools before creating or changing a form. Reading forms works without it.
A form created by AI has no spam protection switched on. Turn it on in the form builder under Settings, Spam Protection and Security before the form goes live.
A new form gets a working notification to the site admin email and a confirmation message. Changing either is done in the form builder.
Only three form settings can be changed by AI: the title, the description, and the submit button text. That is deliberate.
A new field is added at the end of the form. Reordering fields is done in the form builder.
Reading a form back returns each field label, type, and required state, but not dropdown choices or placeholders.
Eight field types are supported: single line text, paragraph, email, numbers, dropdown, multiple choice, checkboxes, and name.
Entry data and entry statistics need WPForms Pro. On the free version the stats ability says so instead of returning numbers.
WPForms Pro adds three entry abilities: entry summaries, single entries, and entry search by field, text, and date range. They are read-only and do not return IP addresses.

Verified, and kept that way

Works with AI is WPVibe’s verification program. Every ability marked verified was run on a live WPForms install, and we rescan WordPress.org weekly so a release that adds or removes abilities shows up here before it surprises you.
