LifterLMS registers these with the WordPress Abilities API under the lifterlms namespace. Your AI finds them with discover_abilities and calls them with run_ability; only abilities marked destructive ask for your approval before they run. Verified means we ran it on a live install of v10.1.0. Registered means a fresh install ships it and we have not run it yet.

What we learned testing it
Behavior the ability descriptions do not mention. WPVibe’s LifterLMS skill already accounts for each of these.
- Student emails, usernames, and roles only come back with context set to edit; the default view returns id, name, and avatar.
- get-course-content returns sections only. To list lessons in order, call list-lessons with the parent section id for each section.
- Progress is one student at a time, so a 200-student report is 200 calls. WPVibe batches these for you.
- create-course requires content, not just a title; it fails with a 400 without it.
- Draft courses, lessons, and plans are hidden from every list ability unless you pass status: draft.
- LifterLMS will enroll students into a draft course without complaint. Check course status before bulk enrolling.
Verified, and kept that way
Works with AI is WPVibe’s verification program. Every ability marked verified was run on a live LifterLMS install, and we rescan WordPress.org weekly so a release that adds or removes abilities shows up here before it surprises you.
